We all remember having Powerwheels when we were young. They may have changed a bit over the years, but the idea has pretty much stayed the same. They weren’t very fast, but they were still pretty cool. Evan’s dad set out to change the speed issue with his Lightning McQueen cruiser, and nailed it.
Evan received the Powerwheels in 2009 and after three years of driving it, wore through the plastic tires. Doing what any good father would do, Evan’s dad took it to FFTEC and modified the crap out it by adding a partial aluminum chassis, 24-volt gel batteries and a 500-Watt, 0.66-horsepower electric motor, disc brakes, Sparco battery cutoff switch, and a modulated throttle.
This guy wins Father of the Year hands down.
